Well, I guess I was wrong about chpt. 33 of Isaiah. Or else the FBI would have came around by now and at least thanked me. Too, if that chapter was about to come true then our forces would be out of Iraq before Bush's Term of President were up. Course we won't know for sure till his term is up. But the way the military has it figured, is that we may be there thirty five years. I suppose that will be how long it takes the USA to stand down as the Iraqis stand up. In any case It's not like the FBI has caught anyone trying to blow up any of our towers. But I must say that Isaiah kind of sounds like his talking to a third party in some of his prophecies. I was the only piece of the puzzle that didn't seem to make since. Actually I had wondered who it was, he was talking too and whether he was going to let anyone know in time. So please forgive my egotistical ramblings. I'd rather have been wrong then had not said anything and had been right. So since I have a couple years to fully be proofen wrong, I guess I will keep on rambling besides I don't know if anyone will ever read these entries or not. So since were waiting I might as well talk about Iran and whether or not they have a part in prophecies of the last days. If you have read Daniel chpter 7 or 8 on and you don't beleive it's talking about the end times then I for one wouldn't know what he's talking about. I find some odd familiarities in a certain prophecy that makes me think that it's talking about current events and near future events. I will be the first to admit I'm no great interpreter of prophecy and I'm no prophet myself, leastwise I certainly wouldn't bet on the horses I favor. Yet some parts of most Biblical prophecy are quite specific and hard to ignore. For example there are certain statements in Daniel chapter 8, that make me believe that the prophecy of the Ram and the Goat is talking of the last days, mainly because that's what he says. Dan.8:19 (And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.) That statement alone in my humble opinion is just to direct, not to be talking about the end of times. So do you see what I mean? Most Biblical scholars believe this prophecy is an account of Alexander the Great but the days of Alexander could hardly be considered anywhere near the end times. Let's take a look at Dan.8:5 (And I was considering, behold, a he goat came from the west on the whole face of the earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.) If you draw a straight line straight west from Baghdad, it points right to the state of Texas. Isn't President Bush from the state of Texas? Too, our troops did cover the distance of the face of the Earth with out touching the ground. There's no way for our troops to get there any other way. Alexander's army did cross over from Greece into Turkey by ship at near the Darnnells but you could just about throw a rock over from there. Once he got to Turkey it was all footwork from there and although Greece is northwest of Iran, it could hardly be considered the whole face of the Earth. Alexander did beat the Persians in his first battle of his conquest but that was because the Persian King tried to sneak up on him from his rear in his forward march south. Then instead of subjugating Persia right then and there he continued southward into Egypt. He then came back from the south to conquer Persia. Also a person would think if this were an account of those events, then Egypt would have been mentioned. Most people who study the Bible are in agreement that we are heading into the last days. So it shouldn't be so hard for them to believe this prophecy is talking about current events but amazing enough all would probably disagree. I'm sure theologians would argue that it clearly states Gercia not America. I'd argue back that Greece at this time is in no position or have any desires to trample Iran. Now America on the other hand does have the power to smite Iran and as of Feb of 06, USA has attacked two of Iran's neighbors but not Iran as of yet. I believe near future events will dictate no other recourse but to attack Iran, they certainly have been asking for it. Too, our politics is based on Greece's model of politics. We even build our Government buildings in the same Grecian design and since America wasn't even established yet in Daniel's day, he couldn't very well tell the world it exists, that might reveal to much for those who where not to know. Had Daniel been looking at Washington in a vision then he would have thought it to be Greece. Let's take a look at Dan. 8:7 (And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and he smote the ram and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.) Daniel tells us who the ram is in Dan.8:20 (The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.) Media is the ancient area in the Terahn region Persia is the Iranian area in totality, one and the same at this time. I find it interesting that Iran has there leadership set up with a president and a spiritual leader known as the Walih Faqih, that even resumes controls of the leadership if their president is unable and is a duel kind of relationship. Hence two horns, as it would seem. As I already said before it's my opinion that Gercia in this text is speaking of America, even has a somewhat similar spelling, wouldn't you agree? (America Gercia) If you were to put Am instead of the G it would be really close. Of course all the places mentioned so far certainly have the mind set to do as is said of them. I am just wondering if the horn of the goat isn't a reference to the first elected President of Iraq. If so I have bad news for him he gets broken. Bad news for Iran too, the United Nations probably will make four countries out of you. In all this, I may be all wrong only God knows. But events happening now sure looks like a big picture puzzle is forming. A picture already described. In closing, may God bless whomever he shall. bye for now, The Elect.
